da Vinci Concept underwent an evolution during its dormancy, with a change in both security level and feature set. From the e107 forum offered before, we have changed our back-end software to Mediawiki, capable of hosting not only forum discussions, but also heavily branched, multilayered investigations using many media types. While the syntax for posting offers a slight learning curve, the benefits of much more robust functionality will more than compensate.
A superb wiki extension produced by Mafs and others was added today to allow wiki pages to include RSS feeds from other websites, other wikis and from da Vinci Concept itself. To use the new extension just put the URL of the RSS feed within the extension tags: <rss>http://url.to.rss/feed</rss> E.G. Sunny:Bookmarks

CQ, you are likely "qualified" to work within many different areas, and not just in the most humanitarian. It is your mind that qualifies you and not your degree field or specialties of study. One of the underlying premises of the da Vinci Concept is that through the interaction of diverse knowledge areas the best possible, long-term, meaningful, generalizable solutions are created.
I think that it is a cynical perspective and reliance on "brute-force" afterthoughts that create poor, short-term, and overtly specialized solutions. We are not trying to patch the world with a plethora of duct-tape solutions. We are making an industry out of successful problem solving. Our intent is very specific. Successfully problem solving. And this means that a problem solution should at least point toward the optimal in all cases. This means long-term. This means, whenever possible, mathematically optimal. This means the minimization of regulating policies, the replacement of policy with working practice to create solutions that are self-sustaining and thus profitable.

Foundations of Science
The axiomatic method is extremely powerful and educational in the sense that it allows us to derive so much knowledge from a small set of axioms and it makes our understanding of the issues very clear. If one understands the axioms and the rules of inference that we can use on these axioms then everything is crystal clear.
It is also the case that 'everyday mathematics', as practiced by your average professional mathematician, who studies, teaches and does research in topology, combinatorics, differential equations, complex analysis, etc can be formalized using our good old friend ZFC.
However, viewed from a certain perspective this might be unfulfilling. Mathematics in itself says nothing about...
