I am an entrepreneur and electrical engineer. I attended the University of Nevada, Reno between 1997 and 2002 during which I worked as a software developer for the university and as a independent consultant for private local and national business ventures. Upon graduation I secured a job in the defense industry working as an engineer, software developer, and problem solver. I am currently on loan from my engineering position in San Diego, CA working at a technology center in Washington D.C. My engineering position allows me to further my problem solving skills and supports my continued academic career. I will begin taking entry level graduate mathematics courses this spring and will begin a full-time graduate program in applied mathematics in the fall of 2005. I have varied intellectual interests, great cooking skills, am a self-taught musician, write whenever possible, am reasonably proficient in everything that I do, and make a habit out of thinking aloud in broad, idealistic proportions. I've taken to basing my value system on the Objectivist philosophical model pioneered by Ayn Rand. I enjoy unstructured debate and have a knack for conceptual problem solving.
